Pottstown Plumbing Pros is a licensed and insured plumbing contractor serving Pottstown borough and the Schuylkill Valley communities of Montgomery and Berks counties. Our work is residential: homeowners, landlords, and property managers in the borough and the surrounding towns.
The older housing stock is what shapes our focus. Pottstown's residential blocks were built primarily between the 1880s and the 1940s, during the era when the Pottstown Iron Company and related industries employed much of the local workforce. The plumbing systems in those homes reflect their age: cast iron drain stacks, galvanized supply lines, lead service connections at the street, and clay sewer laterals that have been in the ground for 80 to 140 years.
We know this inventory. We carry the knowledge and equipment for pipes that are no longer in production, and repair techniques that don't apply to post-1970 construction. If your home on High Street, Hanover Street, or one of the older residential blocks near Pottsgrove Manor was built before 1950, the plumbing situation inside it is not the same as a house in a 1990s subdivision along Route 422. We understand the difference, and we work accordingly.
We hold the Pennsylvania plumbing license issued by the PA Department of Labor and Industry, and carry general liability insurance and workers' compensation coverage. All work that requires a permit is coordinated through Pottstown Borough Code Enforcement and complies with Pennsylvania Uniform Construction Code standards throughout.
